First, how does independent traffic equals independent money? Well, getting a website to the top of the search engines "on your own" is what independent traffic is. It is also what making independent money online is. Look at it this way, the way to get your website(s) to the top of the search engines is by simply having more back links to your website than your competitors. Not just any back links though, they have to be "quality" back links. The search engines will determine what website will rank number one by these three key factors: trust, authority and the relevance of the back links. If you don’t understand what I mean by all of this internet marketing terminology, then look at some of the articles all over the internet (“Carael Knight articles”) that I have personally written and published online about this subject. But believe it or not, you do not necessarily have to rank number one and be at the very top of the search engines to generate a significant amount of money online. It helps but it is not mandatory. A lot of online entrepreneurs feel that they have to rank “number one” in order to see profit and make money online but this is not necessarily true. For example: by having a link going to your website from your competitor or another website, you can receive a consistent amount of independent traffic and thus making independent money as the end result.

There are a lot of independent internet marketers who's websites are far from being number one but they are still steady generating a six to seven figure monthly income online with ease through receiving independent traffic without the search engines. Always remember that independent traffic equals independent money. Traffic building is simply a means of creating bridges (back links) to your website. It is really not that difficult if you can put a little time and effort into it. Now, this does not mean that you will not need any kind of assistance making money online. You have to have some type of network stream where traffic is transferred from one site to another. A lot of people would classify making independent money online is equivalent to getting free traffic "without" the search engines. In other words, this simply means getting traffic from other sources other than finding a website from the key-phrases or keywords people search for in the search engines. There are a lot of independent internet marketers whose websites are far from being number one in the search engines but they are still steady generating independent money and consistently raking in six to seven figure monthly incomes online with ease through receiving “independent” traffic.
